What’s up guys, my name is Dylan aka TheFitDude and I believe in fitness!
If you’re reading this, let me just start off by saying THANK YOU. My role in your life is to motivate, educate, and inspire you to reach those goals you’ve always wanted to conquer but haven’t gotten around to yet. Whether it’s getting that six pack, losing that last 10 pounds, or simply just feeling better about yourself, I’m here to help.
So why should you guys be listening to me in the first place? I’ve been your typical jock my whole life. I played soccer and basketball throughout middle school and high-school and even played a year of college soccer. I’m the guy who is up for any new challenge, as long as it involves getting up and being active (even slack-lining). I started to realize how much I loved working out and learning about not only the fitness side of things, but the nutrition as well. So I went out and decided to get my NASM Personal Training Certification to further my education about the thing I was most passionate about.
My philosophy is simple. I believe that we all have one body to live in, so why not take care of it? At the end of the day all of us should be healthy and comfortable in our own skin. What so many people lose sight of is that being healthy isn’t some “Six Pack Shortcut” fad diet, but it’s a lifelong way of life! Being healthy is so much more than just looking good for the beach. It’s about feeling good in your own skin, and enjoying the process along the way towards a better body. I’m here to tell you today that staying fit and healthy is very much so attainable, but will take consistent time and effort. There are no shortcuts. If you go into it with that mindset, and stay patient and learn to enjoy the process, I can promise you long-lasting results.
I am by no means an expert, but am continually learning and experimenting with my own body to find out more about health and fitness. I completely understand that everyone is different, and everyone has different goals and aspirations, but that’s the true beauty of it. There isn’t one cookie-cutter way of doing things, and one persons “in-shape” might be completely different than someone else’s and that is completely fine. I’m here to reach out to all of you, and share my experiences, stories, and knowledge to help you conquer all those fitness goals you know you want to achieve!
